I think we can all agree that it’s much easier to talk about doing something than to actually do it. For some reason we feel the need to share our intentions with others, whether seeking their approval or motivation to get started. We share our plans to donate our time, stop being late, stay on track with our faith, or get in shape, but somewhere along the way we lose the determination needed to get from intention to action.
Enough talk! It’s time to take action on our words. Whether business or personal, if there is something you want to do – stop talking about it and do it. Time is precious so don’t waste it. Be the person others aspire to be. Be a doer not a talker. As Benjamin Franklin said, “Well done is better than well said”. Don’t just say it – Do it and make this week count!
